Praim announces TwinTerm, Logic Unit Terminal with Twinax and Ethernet connectivity.
TwinTerm, is a compatible IBM logic unit terminal with Twinax and Ethernet connectivity. It can be connected to any Twinax or TCP/IP IBM host. TwinTerm allows you to connect as a traditional “green screen” twinax terminal and supports color attributes.
TwinTerm supports any CRT or LCD monitor available in the market,
with video resolution up to 1600 x 1200.
TwinTerm supports the classic 122 key terminal keyboard or the 105 PC keyboard, and allows to the user to use same keyboard mapping as the traditional IBM Twinax terminal.
TwinTerm also supports TCP/IP Ethernet display and printer sessions, which can be used simultaneously with Twinax connections. This allows support of legacy Twinax devices while also providing a standard, up to date, Ethernet connection, warranting service continuity during Twinax to TCP/IP environment migration.
TwinTerm is available with TT7050 base model with IBM 5250 Twinax / TCP/IP and USB printer support, and with TT7150 model with USB and Parallel printer plus Browser, ICA, RDP multiprotocol support as an up to date Thin Client terminal.
