With over 1000 active
installations managing thousands of printers, Print2000 has
proven itself as the most versatile / easy to use print
server on the market today. With this success has come a
knowledge which has led to the
release of Print2000 Version 3.0.
Print2000 is a software solution which improves the
quality of printed output while at the same time
providing a document management solution.
Print2000 is an "intelligent" print server which accepts
printed text streams from a host system. It then
transforms these text steams, by changing text fonts,
changing text position, adding images, or by adding
barcodes. The newly produced document is then sent to
the printer or to a file for document management.
Print2000
is a configurable service running on a Windows platform that communicates with systems that generate
printed data and the printer device or service that actually prints the
documents. It requires absolutely no reconfiguration or
software installation on the system which generates the
printed data.
Print2000
supports printed text streams from IBM System i,
IBM System z, UNIX, Linux, Windows, or from any other text file
source. Based on user
defined rules, Print200 transforms the document, to
produce one or more new documents based on the original.

document transformation.
Now it is easier than ever to produce multiple
documents or archived copies of documents based on
the content of text fields within the printed data
stream.

Improved Emailing
capabilities.
The Print2000 interface to the email server has
been improved to enhance performance when large
numbers of emails are to be generated.

Extended Multifunction Printer
support.
Virtually any enhanced printer function can be used
by Print2000. Including hole punch, printer
resolution, input drawer selection, output drawer selection, duplex, simplex,
tumble, etc..

|
Updated
Graphical User Interface.
The Graphical User Interface has been enhanced to
simplify configuration and document layout.

|
|
New Image
Formats.
TIF, and TIFF Multiframe image formats can now be produced.
|
|
|
New 2D BarCode
types.
The following types of 2D barcodes are now supported:
PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, MaxiCode, RSS, RSS14
Stacked, RSS14 Stacked Omnidirectional, and RSS Limited.
