Print2000 is a software product developed to offer companies a tool for optimizing both the quality and readability of printed documentation as well as to automate and manage document distribution.

Print2000 is a service that communicates with systems that generate printed data and the printer or service that prints the document. It manages multiple printing output queues, automatically transforming the incoming printer data stream to the desired output format based on the user configuration.



Print2000 supports printed text streams from:
- IBM System i with native TN5250E 
- IBM System z with native TN3270E
- Unix with LPD/LPR
- Windows with LPD/LPR
- Any text file

Print2000 allows you to 1. optimize the layout of the information contained in the received document, 2. to improve quality and readability of the document, and 3. to transform documents designed for dot matrix printers into a format compatible with the latest laser printers (color, resolution, finishing, etc.).


Simple to use

Print2000 has an intuitive Graphical User Interface, that requires no knowledge of any specific programming language. Once installed and configured to run as a service, Print2000 requires absolutely no user interaction. Furthermore Print2000 requires no modification to the existing printer programs or systems.

Print2000 verifies the contents of incoming documents and based on user defined Rules, dynamically applies transformations, to produce one or more new documents based on the original.

Form Overlays

Print2000 allows you automatically create overlays using a graphical form (an “electronic” form) and the printed data, eliminating the cost and management of pre-printed forms.

Print2000 allows you to change the position of every incoming text field, allows you to duplicate or remove specific fields, and allows the use of standard Windows Fonts (font size, font color, text orientation, etc.).

Barcode generation

Print2000 can automatically transform any alphanumeric data field to any barcode, including 2D types. This allows the product to be used as a label printer.

Dynamic Image Management

Print2000 supports Dynamic Image Management, allowing you to insert images into the document based on specific rules and conditions. Images can also be selected from an external image database.

Multiple and Independent documents

Print2000 can transform one document into one or more documents with different contents or layouts. The documents produced by Print2000 can be set to different destination bins on a printer or to completely different printers.

Automatic PDF, Email or Fax conversion

Documents to be printed can also be saved as PDF, TIFF, or JPG formatted files. These documents or images can also be automatically sent as attachments to Emails or Faxed using a SMTP service.

Electronic Document Archiving

All documents, to be printed or saved, can be automatically archived into an organized folder structure based on the document content. Moreover Print2000 can interface to an external database for document storage.
