Dear Santa Claus,
I’ve been pretty good at my job this year, but I know I can do even better… with your help!
For next year I want to raise the bar, I have decided that the entire IT department must improve and for this reason I write my wishes to you! Don’t think of me as selfish person, these are gifts for me, of course, but they would make all my colleagues happy and will also help improving their tasks.
I would like new devices, more performing, which consume less: the administrative department would be really happy! I would like them to be totally manageable from wherever I am, to always guarantee an optimized company infrastructure, to never lack assistance to colleagues and allow them to work anywhere, in the headquarters, in our other offices scattered around the world or from home, always in a secure way.
I know I still have the other older hardware locked in the closet… Don’t think I’m someone who likes to waste, on the contrary… Maybe you can find a solution to help me reuse those too. It would be perfect!
I would also like to be able to customize the operating profiles and access methods of each user, so that my colleagues can find the perfect working environment for their role! And for our Chief Information and Security Officer’s happiness, the workstations and access methods should also be secure, perhaps based on 2-factor authentication…
One last important thing… It would be nice if I could also have some time left over to dedicate to my family! It seems difficult, but a simple to use and effective management tool for workstations and users would be enough in order to do everything I need for my company quickly and efficiently.
