Trento, 17 September 2019 – Praim, leading provider of systems for the creation and management of thin & zero client software and hardware workstations, has appointed Nicola Manica as the new CTO of the company.
Nicola Manica, comes from a long journey in the IT world, in particular from the embedded and real-time systems area. He is passionate about operating systems and joined Praim as a developer analyst; later he became responsible for the Linux sector and, finally, R&D Manager.
In Praim, Nicola contributed to the engineering of the products, promoted and created new projects and led to a radical renewal in the Research & Development department, succeeding in creating a young but at the same time very competent team.

The arrival of Michele Vescovi, the new R&D Manager, will be fundamental for the growth of the company. With his experience and skills he will be able to bring the development team to an even better level, and will contribute to guiding the entire company to think in a more international way,” declares Nicola Manica, new CTO of Praim.
Nicola will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating and defining the company’s technological strategies. He will coordinate relations and industrial partnerships, identify and propose the new lines of the products.
After graduating in Computer Science, Nicola Manica obtained a PhD in Embedded Systems at the ICT International Doctoral School of the University of Trento, completing part of his studies at the Technische Universität Dresden.
