After the recent launch of ThinOX 12, we announce a further news, thus sealing the complete renewal of all our thin client solutions, on all platforms: the new Windows products, in fact, are now also available with the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 (Long Term Servicing-Channel) operating system.
In addition to the Windows 10 IoT 2019 version, which is still available, it’s possible to purchase all Praim thin clients also in the new version of Microsoft’s 64-bit operating system, customized and optimized with the integration of Agile version 2.10, which allows to automate the protection and management of the thin client thanks to the combined use with the ThinMan Advanced management console.
The transition to Windows 10 IoT 2021 marks an important evolution, which first of all allows to support the latest hardware platforms and architectures and to guarantee compatibility with the latest peripherals and with the evolution of different network standards (such as, for example, H2E WPA3 standard for advanced Wi-Fi security). Furthermore, the new Windows 10 IoT Enterprise version 21H2 allows access to Microsoft’s extended maintenance program, which for this version reaches 2027 for functional evolutions and 2032 for security updates.
The new Praim thin client models based on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 thus offer the best tool for those who prefer to use their IoT range devices in a Windows environment, also benefiting from the additional innovations introduced in this version of Windows. Other innovations include improved support for Microsoft’s VDI technologies, through the transition to RDP version 10.8 of the native Remote Connection (MSTSC) client and through our integration with the new Remote Desktop (MSRDC) client of Microsoft that allows you to interface with Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructures.
