Trento, October 16, 2017 – Praim announces the release of the new version 10.2.4 of the ThinOX operating system for thin & zero client solutions.
These are the most important features introduced by version 10.2.4:
- Citrix Receiver updated to version 13.7
With version 13.7, Citrix Receiver for Linux, you can use Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) to support Enlightened Data Transport (EDT) connections. This feature provides protected access to resources hosted in XenApp and XenDesktop environments that use the EDT protocol and provides maximum performance regardless of the network context used. In fact, it is able to choose the best protocol for the current network situation, from time to time. For more information, read the Citrix release note.
- VMware Horizon View Client upgraded to version 4.6
The new version of the client allows the use of the latest level of VDI VMware Horizon 7.x infrastructure, not only with PCoIP, but also using the recent VMware Blast Extreme protocol. In addition, the Praim ThinOX models are merely dedicated to the VMware Horizon infrastructure and thus guarantee the evolution of future versions of VMware infrastructure.
