Agile 3.2 further strengthens Praim’s Windows endpoint management solution. Integrated with the ThinMan Advanced console, it provides IT Managers with greater operational control and streamlined management within VDI and cloud desktop environments.

Agile is designed to standardize and automate Windows workstation configurations, simplify access to virtual and application resources, and enhance productivity across both traditional PCs and Windows Thin Clients.
Available in its standard version and in Agile4PC (installable on Windows 10/11 PCs), it delivers a controlled and customized user interface that restricts access to unnecessary resources and enforces consistent policies across the entire device fleet.

Windows App Client Support

Agile 3.2 introduces integrated support for Windows App, the new unified client for connecting to Microsoft cloud infrastructures such as Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. This enhancement comes in preparation for the end-of-support of the Remote Desktop Client (RDC), scheduled for March 2026 — a transition that requires technical adjustments from enterprises.

With this integration, Agile enables a modernized access workflow aligned with Microsoft’s infrastructure evolution, ensuring business continuity and simplifying centralized configuration deployment via ThinMan Advanced.

For devices without access to the Microsoft Store — or to optimize Windows App delivery — the client will also be available in Praim Hotfix format, deployable through ThinMan Advanced.

Windows Apps Management

Another key enhancement in this release is the ability to include Microsoft Store applications as configurable resources within Agile, particularly in Windows Desktop and Locked-down Desktop modes.

This capability is especially relevant for Agile4PC deployments, enabling organizations to deliver Store-based applications alongside traditional VDI or cloud connections.

Impact for IT

For IT leaders, Agile 3.2 delivers:

  • Alignment with Microsoft roadmaps, ensuring compatibility and future support for access clients.
  • Simplified deployment of resources and policies through centralized, repeatable configurations managed via ThinMan.
  • Controlled user experience, with customizable interfaces and lockdown capabilities to reduce risks related to unauthorized usage or misconfiguration.
  • Enhanced application governance, extending policy control to Windows Apps as managed resources.

Release Timeline

Agile 3.2 is scheduled for release in the MyPraim customer area by March 2026, giving organizations sufficient time to assess and plan upgrades ahead of Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Client end-of-support deadline.
