ThinOX and ThinOX4PC

The new 64-bit version 12.0.0 (°) of ThinOX as a single multi-model firmware has been released.

Version 12 marks the passage of ThinOX and ThinoOX4PC to the new generation of kernels to support the latest hardware and the latest versions of the main VDI technologies and their optimizations for video conferencing.

ThinOX v. 12.0.0 includes the following new features:

  • Evolution of the ThinOX basic system
  • Upgrade to the new kernel, version 5.15.58
  • Integration of Citrix Workspace App version 22.07 with optimization support for MS Teams and client update (default)
  • Integration of VMware Horizon version 22.06 with optimization support for MS Teams and client update (default)
  • FreeRDP version 2.8.0 integration and client update (default)
  • Integration of UDS version 3.5.0
  • Citrix: optimization plugin for Zoom version 5.10.6 integrated

This new version also includes further improvements:

  • Strengthening of password protection with SHA-512
  • Improved support for video configuration in multi-monitor cases
  • Firefox updated to version 101
  • Chromium updated to version 97
