Praim introduces Agile 3.1, the latest evolution of its software solution designed to enable streamlined and efficient management of Windows 10 and 11 endpoints. This new release delivers significant enhancements, particularly in Wi-Fi connection management, optimising user access workflows -even in remote work scenarios over home networks.
The use of Windows laptops as hybrid workstations -both in the office and remotely- is now an established standard. However, the operational and administrative complexities involved are often underestimated, potentially affecting device security, productivity, and standardisation. Agile addresses these challenges by providing a controlled and simplified environment that ensures a consistent approach to accessing corporate infrastructure.
With configurable graphical access modes, Agile allows organisations to define tailored operational workflows for each user category. This eliminates unnecessary or potentially risky operations while ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
What’s New in Agile 3.1
- Enhanced Wi-Fi management: authorised users can now configure new Wi-Fi connections independently, even when the Write Filter is active and regardless of pre-assigned profiles.
- Extended support for advanced Wi-Fi authentication, with compatibility with WPA3-SAE and OWE, alongside improved handling of passwords through full IEEE 802.11i support and better management of SSIDs containing UTF-8 characters.
- Strengthened security policies: new options enable the restriction of user functions such as session disconnection or access to Task Manager, reinforcing endpoint governance and control.
Centralised remote management with ThinMan Advanced
All Agile features are managed through ThinMan Advanced, Praim’s centralised management console, which offers:
- Automated deployment and updates: seamless distribution and updating of configuration profiles based on predefined policies.
- Remote troubleshooting and management of endpoints both within corporate networks and for devices used in home-based remote working environments.
- Unified access to remote and virtual resources: centralised access management for platforms including Citrix Workspace, Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft RDS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365, Parallels RAS, and UDS Enterprise.
- Comprehensive IT asset inventory: full visibility over hardware and software assets, supporting audit processes, compliance activities, and licence control.

The Agile agent is available in the following formats:
- Pre-installed on Praim thin clients.
- In Agile4PC version, with software license, for PC devices or other thin clients running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 or Windows 11.
