Agile, Agile4PC

The new version 2.11.0 (*) of Praim Agile/Agile4PC has been released and includes the following main news:

  • Support for Windows update management (Windows Update service), in particular:
    • Windows updates management coordinated by ThinMan, with sending of information on downloaded and installed updates; ability to disable/enable Windows Update and to configure some parameters;
    • Ability to configure WSUS server;
  • Improved third-party software installation and commands, including:
    • Ability to send and install “Windows Update Standalone” packages (.msu extension);
    • Extension of the diagnostics sent to ThinMan and included in the support data;

and the following further improvements:

  • Remote assistance tool updated, which includes (for Windows 10 IoT 2021 systems) lock screen support, user-side input and choice between displaying the entire desktop area or only the primary monitor area;
  • Compatibility adjustments for Agile4PC on Windows 11 systems;
  • Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

ThinMan

Version 8.5.6 (*) 64-bit and 32-bit of ThinMan Advanced Edition has been released and includes:

  • Control support in the management of Windows updates on Agile workstations.
    Added the ability to:

    • Block or re-enable Windows Update (automatic Windows updates);
    • Start the installation of Windows updates punctually or based on a scheduled activity (also coordinating the Write Filter function);
    • Management of “Windows Update Standalone” packages (.msu extension) in the repository and as a third-party software installation.
    • Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

ThinMan Gateway

Version 2.4.2 (*) of ThinMan Gateway has been released and includes the following main news:

  • Support for new commands for installing Windows updates;
  • Other minors and bugfixes.
