ThinOX 12 (and ThinOX4PC)

Version 12.1.1 (*) 64-bit released as a single multi-model firmware for ThinOX and ThinOX4PC and includes the following main new features:

  • Citrix: Workspace App client updated to version 24.02
  • VMware: Horizon View client updated to version 2312.1
  • Parallels: Parallels RAS client updated to version 19.3
  • UDS: client updated to version 3.6.0
  • FreeRDP: updated to version 2.11.5
  • Secure Boot support in the ThinOX4PC version
  • Support for 802.1x authentication with private certificates
  • New Citrix Kiosk mode introduced with resource browse on the kiosk interface
  • Intel video driver updated and new default on hardware with Intel graphics card

and the following additional improvements:

  • Review and improvements in the ThinMan configurator
  • Introduced possibility to save last user used in ThinMan Login
  • VMware: configuration updated for access to removable disks
  • VMware: support for printing from VDI to a printer connected directly to the thin client
  • Citrix: resource browse workflow improvements (for Praim client)
  • Citrix: support session re-scaling on high resolution displays
  • Ability to retain the magnification level (zoom) used on browser connections
  • “White List” management interface improvements in Praim Browser (web kiosk)
  • Improvements to webcam diagnostics functionality
  • Improved desktop graphics experience:
    • Icon management and feedback launch of VDI sessions
    • Ability to customize the date and time display
  • Improvements in the management of audio devices, Bluetooth, and Windows remote file systems
  • Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Furthermore, the 64-bit version 12.0.21 (*) has also been released as a single multi-model firmware for ThinOX and ThinOX4PC and extends version 12.0.20 with the update of VMware’s Horizon View client to version 2312.1 as well as some bug fixes.

Agile

The following new versions of Praim Agile and Agile4PC have been released:

  • 2.11.4 (°) which includes some minor improvements and bug fixes.
  • 2.12.0 (°) which includes the following main new features:
    • Support for the creation of Parallels-type resources (RAS and RDP)
    • New option to show information bar (with date and time) in Browser Mode
    • Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Windows 10 IoT (2021)

New version 4.3.0 (*) of Windows 10 IoT 2021 LTSC Praim custom images has been released and includes:

  • Agile updated to version 2.12.0
  • Citrix Workspace App client updated to version 2403
  • VMware Horizon client updated to version 2312.1
  • Parallels RAS (Remote Application Server) client version 19.3 integrated
  • Azure Remote Desktop client for Windows Desktop updated to version 1.2.5405
  • Microsoft Edge for Business browser updated to version 124.0.2478.97
  • Microsoft Defender engine updated to version 2404.1
  • Microsoft security updates through May 2024:
    • May 14, 2024 – KB5037768: Security update for Windows 10
    • May 14, 2024 – KB5037587: Cumulative update of .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10
  • Driver integration and support for the new ASUS models in price list.

The respective Praim Update package including the security updates and the renewed Microsoft Defender has also been released.

ThinMan

Version 8.6.4 (°) 64-bit and 32-bit of ThinMan Advanced Edition has been released, including:

  • Extended functionalities in LDAP management:
    • New feature to duplicate an LDAP configuration
    • Possibility to enable “Administrator” users to operate in the LDAP configurator
  • Other minor improvements and bug fixes.
